PasswordBox - Password Manager & Wallet App Reviews

I used to LOVE this app, but something has happened. Still works great on my desktop, but will NEVER decrypt on my iPhone. Keeps saying "decrypting" forever. I HAVE NOT done the latest IOS update on my iPhone 6, due to all the issues it seems to bring, but it seems that problems abound with passwordbox regardless. Sigh. At least it worked well during a trip overseas last month. In the last few weeks it has crashed. Boo!

I bought a lifetime subscription to this password manager almost 2 years ago and loved it. But when Intel bought them they moved on to create TrueKey which is pretty much the same thing but with a few new features. I havent been able to use my app since iOS 9 and they dropped support for safari so its useless for me. I would just switch to TrueKey but to do that Id have to start paying monthly and I already have a lifetime subscription to this service, so unless they allow me to carry that over at some point Im gonna find a new password manager.

Once opened, the app just hang here doing nothing. No response no matter what I clicked... This used to be a good and useful app!

App is terrible.....I have had to delete and reinstall multiple times over the last year....well, this week, I could not access any of my passwords. It would take forever to decrypt and then all of a sudden....all of my passwords disappeared. So, I am finished with this app and will find another one.

A convient app that speeds up my day

Ive used this app for a couple years now. Its been very useful. Hate to see it go.

Bill Newton 1 Post 0 Reply Likes Do you ever even respond to these complaints? True Key doesnt even work and Passwordbox has been decrypting since last Februaty. This is ridiculous. I have to delete and re-load every time I need a password. Perhaps you could just come up with a simple transfer process so that we can get everything off these horrific events sites and into a real password manager program. Time to try Dashlane or something. Just ridiculous!

Can not manage my accounts anymore without it

Despite all the positive marketing around their acquisition by Intel, this is bad for the customers, especially those who bought into the lifetime pro upgrade, which will no longer be honored.

I have been using PWB for a long time and am very satisfied with its performance. Interface is straightforward and comfortable and capabilities are on par or better than the competition. I dont use all features but am extremely happy with the ones I do. I highly recommend this app.
